In this blog we are going to discuss about transverse waves.
Wave is a disorder produced in a substance due to the repeated vibrations of the particles of the transmission, some their reaction orientation.
Waves are generally grouped as: -
1) Longitudinal waves
2)Transverse waves
) Transverse wave
A wave, which propagates in a direction perpendicular to the direction of vibration of the particles of the medium, is called transverse wave.
Electromagnetic waves & vibrations in a string of a violin are transverse in nature.
The elevated portions of the string are called the crests & the depressed portions are called the troughs.

See the given link to know more electromagnetic waves definition.
Next time we will discuss more about this examples of transverse waves.
Also one more thing i would like to say to you that if you want to learn speaking English than see the given link Learning English Speaking.
